Seattle's Only Brewery 1932
In a promotional calendar published in 1932, The Hemrich Brothers boasted being the only brewery in Seattle having obtained the first post-Prohibition brewer's license in the city.
Founded in 1896 the original, wood-sided Seattle brewhouse was situated on South Lake Union near William Boeing's lakeside hangar and Henry Ford's first assembly plant west of the Mississippi. An area now dominated by the campus of Amazon.com.
